What’s Crackin’: Cariboo Halloween Show

If you weren’t at The Official Cariboo Halloween Show, then you made a poor choice! What more could you ask for? A sick line-up, $4 Cariboo Honey Lager shorties and a packed house of people dressed in ridiculous costumes. You gotta love it!

I rolled up at 9:30pm to see a massive line-up of people eager to get inside for the show. Paul Mulgrew was representing to the fullest wearing his Cariboo bottle jumpsuit.  Best inspired Cariboo costume fo sho! The first 50 people in the door received a free Cariboo t-shirt and free give-aways were tossed out throughout the night. Graffiti artists were also welcome onstage to provide individual touches on a Cariboo canvas. It looked sick!

It wasn’t long before the place was full and Baby C hit the stage to open the night up. Rocking the bad teacher look, she had the crowd bumping to her new dubstep track “Gettin’ Mine” produced by Shugarboy.  Next up was Fatty Down with a little help from Attikus and G Boxx.  A mix of beat-boxing and funky vocals ignited the audience and Fatty’s Cariboo can costume had all eyes on him. The boys were looking good and sounding fresh, big ups!

The party was getting popping when Snak The Ripper and Evil Ebenezer teamed up to rock the mic.  =Sporting top hats and gold apparel, these emcees delivered a high-energy set composed of some of the best of both artists’ songs. This was the first time I’ve seen them perform together and they complimented each others style perfectly. It got a little rowdy by the end of their set, but let’s just say they finished the live performances off with a bang!

Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate Halloween in true Cariboo style!! The costumes were impressive (both skanky and creative) and the beer was delicious (the honey is my fav)!
