Striker's Tales
Hey check this out pretty new and improved, Newton’s Nation, Australia race action. This was when I was on team ASRA along with Blackwood yelling and screaming for the Repercharge semi finals and finals, Repercharge is one of the most punishing racing hills out there, so enjoy!

Newtons Nation 2012 Repercharge Semi-Finals and Final

Coast Longboarding lunatic breaks world record for skateboard speed. How about Mischo Erban from Vernon, BC, this ass kickin’ coast made man said the hill he just broke the new world record, “Got boring!” and he challenges any company in the world to, “Build him a bigger hill!” but if you ask me lets get a top speed race in Quebec and race for the record every year. Fast Freddie get this shit running!

Twenty eight year old Mischo achieved the fastest skateboard speed from a standing position by whizzing down a road in Quebec, Canada known as “the landslide” at 80.74 mph – and handily wore a headcam to capture his incredible view. But while we might be impressed, Erban apparently isn’t. “I didn’t really even feel challenged,” he said. “I hope to be afraid one day. I want to be able to do 160mph. There isn’t a road which exists to do it on but I think it would be possible because it is possible for downhill skiers.” He flew down a hill on a skateboard faster than many drive on the highway, but Mischo Erban says his Guinness World Record winning ride was “Just a game.”

Guinness World Record Setting Downhill Skateboard Run

129.94km/h set on June 18, 2012 at 9:10am and 11:39am at Les Éboulements, Quebec, Canada!

Now in other news, this week has been busy for Strike, being a dad and taking some time to meet up with the Cribb-Bomb Mr. Fix It, Matt Hoodie Shaw. He’s been calling me all this week about a huge problem leaking sewage in his front drive way! I guess the Cribs drooling a bit on Hoodie’s driveway and while luring ladies into his house he has to pass what he calls a blue John in his driveway and that’s wrecking his game a bit. I still owe Hoodie for a few things and when I heard this I wanted to unload the whole shit tank of creamy thick sludge sewer right in his yard just to call it half even. But I got better plans for him than a little poop at his front door.

So with all this time off I needed to get over to Hoodie’s house and get some things straightened out on the Cribb for this Maryhill Festival of Speed trip that was coming up. I got to his house and on the agenda was new headlights, new tail lights, refix the air bag suspension that Ricky just installed, the windshield wiper and to finally, after a year, fix this frickin rv generator.

HOOIDE MR FIX IT

While we spent most the day tweeking the crypt I heard the jingles of the local ice cream truck making the round past the reserve across the street and rolling its way toward us. Of course I know the sound of a popsicle truck when I hear it. I dropped everything and grabbed my beltless shorts and thumped my way down the road trying to keep my ass crack in check but I quickly ran into trouble when I slipped on some sludge and the truck almost got away. I made my order and asked the lady if I could trade her beer for cool treats and sure enough beer is good as gold around that part of town we made the trade! She got some beers and I got some ice cream!

ICE CREAM LADY

While I ate a ice cream popsicle I cleaned all the poop off Hoodie’s driveway with a simple household hose and Hoodie fixed the generator! One of the most amazing moments in Crypt history, a working generator! Lights camera action! Now with a working generator set the possibilities are unlimited! So I went into my bagg of tricks and bought us a pa system for setting up at races or just for pounding music along the highway while I scream and yell through a microphone, full speed ahead!

NEW PA SYSTEM

Bean came and cleaned the F-bomb and shampooed the carpets and couches to make it smell very nice for the boarder crossing. He is always surprised by the amount of dirt that comes out of here but every five trips or so we give it a good clean.

We left Vancouver at 9 pm on Tuesday and got to sweet Maryhill by 5 am in the morning Wednesday. Of course with when we crossed the boarder we all got dragged in for questioning and moments later after a quick Cribb Bomb search we were in the USA! When we got to the racers campsite I had to try out our brand new pa system by waking up every single person in a one-mile radius. With my pounding voice and our booming speakers there was no hope for the sleeping people of Goldendale. We also did a couple rounds around the famous Ponarosa hotel before we got stopped by the crazy little Chinese lady. After she tore a strip off us I asked here if she had any room in her hotel and to our surprise she was full. At this time all the hotel was awake and on their balcony’s enjoying what looked to be a spectacular day.

I’m here at the bottom of Maryhill running the generator with cool air conditioning while it’s roasting outside. Raggie just got a perm and he’s setting up our pirate radio station thanks to the Schnitzel and it works! So now were gangstin’ live in America!
RAGGIE NEW PERM
