Said bye to Patricia and the baby and took the train to the airport. Got on the plane no problem. Not like Team Green’s Scoot, he was held up in Canada by Yankee customs for three hours and missed his flight! Now, Scoot’s here and he’s greener than ever! He says I’m the last team member to get the Team Green tattoo. I guess if I get the chance I’ll be getting some ink!

I got on the plane and was assigned the middle seat of three and with my luck only two of us shared three seats. This was the only time I never took advantage of the free wine on the international flights. I recall concentrating on breathing and sweating the last two years I took the flight. Too much wine will do it to ya. Last time Anne puked all over the plane when we shared a seat back to the land down under.

Love the luck, rolled through customs like it was no thang! I rocked that shit in record time. Jason Wright, a rippen Auzzie, picked me up and we waited for Tony Graves while he got probed in customs for about an hour!

After Tony cleaned up his ass, we walked to the car and on the sidewalk I saw a customs bag so I stopped and took a look. Australia was happy we landed in the country and gave us an offering. It was a sixty pounder and a forty pounder of Absolut Vodka. So we took it! It was so busy someone just left it for us I guess. So, we donated the booze to Jacko’s skate house where twenty racers are packed in safe and sound waiting for the first race MT Keirra Downhill Challenge!

Jackos house is the perfect place to have a skater flop house! Two levels. Pool table, drums, guitars, bass. Pool, sweet deck a full on kitchen three bathrooms and internet!

It’s been nice to reunite with longtime Auzzie brother Adam Yates! Landyachtz ripper that made it to Canada for a couple trips and now hosting suckas down under! He’s all healed up from smashing into a car and getting reconstruction knee surgery! It’s going to be good to see him rip this weekend! While we are on the topic of smashing into cars Wacko Jacko is on crutches because he just smashed into a car!

I’m telling you, flip tricks might hurt your ankle or you might bang your head or break your wrists but downhill longboarding! Downhill skating we hit bloody cars! Down here in Auzzie land and in New Zealand it is no better, the roads are narrow and painful!

Cribb bomb mechanic and longtime Coast Longboarder, Sheep Creek Champ, Reckless Ricky made it to Auz and is a house-cleaning machine! With over twenty skaters in one house this place looks like Hiroshima after a night of beer, weed and cheers! Reckless has himself a nice set of new racing leather with the Canadian colours loud and proud!

Another racer that’s been staying at Jacko’s place is Hawaii’s Ethan Lau! I love this guy man! We ripped Brazil together a few years back for Teutonia and he has just been around kickin’ ass and hills for years. Ethan eats the sweet nectar the earth provides for him! Plants and fruits and flow! One of my favorite racers to watch! He surfs the concrete wave he has eyes like a shark and rages like a nighthawk. A few years back, he took second place at Newton’s! Very humble and very funny! I’m stoked!

Also, the tag team American dream James Kelly and Louis “No Rules” Pilloni showed up to join the party! The boys just launched rad wheels, Racer Approved Designs! Stoked to see the boys making their own gear after all these years! California rippers will be charging I can’t wait to scream and yell at them as they race to win! I can’t wait to get down to business! It’s Thursday and the show is starting now.

It’s been raining since we got here but that gave me time to pound out some serious Danger Bay actions! I locked myself in a room for three days straight designing seven, Attack of Danger Bay posters, all the racers shirts, hoodies, baby gear… all designed. All the sponsors have been locked in and bands have been booked! All done, just in time to enjoy the upcoming weekend of racing!

How about tattoos! Wacko Jakco got some new ink done on the deck! I’ve been watching the Canucks on my nhl.com account! Wow they needed that ginger! Hockey Day In Australia!
