Cariboo Extreme: Spring Sessions
I was skateboarding down Main street the other day with a few buds, heading to the new skate park on Ontario and 16th, when a biker rolled up to me and challenged to a race via hill bomb. Well, I’m not one to back down to a challenge so I accepted. Main Street can get a little cluttered so the race was pretty much an obstacle course full of pedestrians, cars, baby strollers and hot dog stands or some crazy shit. I was givin er’ all I had but I couldn’t keep up with this biker, skateboards just can’t compete with bikes when it comes to speed. We where on the final stretch, I’m pretty far back, when all of a sudden the biker runs into the side of a car pulled up to a stop sign. I cruise past and secure the win. They say slow and steady wins the race, but I was hauling ass so I don’t think that applies here.
