Cream Ale
Cream Ale is a North American invention. Unlike most beer recipes that originate in Europe, this style was spawned from a thirst for something above and beyond the typical American lager. Brewed with an ale yeast and cold conditioned like a lager, Cream Ale is usually one of the lighter beers, however, the Cariboo Cream Ale reflects the winters of the far North with more colour, body and flavour to keep you feeling warm, when it is minus twenty out and the wood needs a-choppin’.
Tasting Notes
Darker than a typical Cream Ale because we use special roasted malts that add more flavour. This is a rich, tasty beer that can be paired with anything – from spicy Thai food to the more delicate textures and flavours of sushi. This unique beer has its own standout finish for the more adventurous drinker.
